Cable’s far left-leaning CNN saw more than a third of its primetime viewership drop last week compared to the same week last year, while Fox News’ primetime audience got nearly a double-digit boost over the same period when compared to 2017.
“After years of misleading its audience with fake news, 35 percent of CNN’s primetime audience up and left when compared to this same week last year,” Breitbart News reported. “These viewers might have gone over to Fox News, where the primetime audience jumped by +9 percent.”
CNN the big loser
The liberal Cable news network lost another viewership battle with its conservative rival in another key analytic category, as well.
“In total day, the news is only a little better for the far-left CNN, which lost -20 percent of its audience,” Breitbart News’ John Nolte divulged. “Meanwhile, Fox News saw its total day audience jump by +1 percent.”
Things are not looking up for another overtly left-leaning Cable news channel, MSNBC, which is also experiencing declining numbers compared to last year, meaning that it is also losing its ratings war with the growing Fox News.
“MSNBC was down from the comparable week last year, -8 percent in primetime viewers, and -3 percent in total day viewers,” AdWeek.com informed from the Nielsen Ratings.
