WORLD SERIES OF POKER CIRCUIT MAIN EVENT STARTS FRIDAY
DURANT, OK – NOV 9, 2017
The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) tour Main Event at the Choctaw Resort and Casino in Durant, Oklahoma starts Friday, November 10th at noon.
There are two day-one opportunities to the $1,675 entry fee No Limit Hold ‘Em tournament where the winner will earn a cash prize plus an entry to the 2018 WSOPC Global Casino Championship. The 4-day event will culminate on Monday, November 13th when the winner will be decided. The winner must collect all of the tournament chips in play to best the field. Each entrant starts with $20,000 worth of non-cashable tournament chips.
Entrants must qualify on day one by bagging chips at the end of play on day one. All players who qualify on day one will continue day-two play on Sunday, November 12th. The event is open to anybody over the age of 18.
The same event during last years circuit stop at the same venue attracted 1,451 entrants with a top prize awarded of $375,427 from a total prize pool of $2,176,500. Last year’s winner was Grant Hinkle of Overland Park, Kansas.
The WSOPC tour events are associated with the World Series of Poker annual event held at the All Suites Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
